How many lines can I process?
Since processing happens in your browser, there is no server-side limit. In practice, modern browsers can handle hundreds of thousands of lines without issue. Very large lists (millions of lines) may be slow depending on your device.
What does “Keep Truly Unique Only” mean?
“Remove Duplicates” keeps the first occurrence of each duplicate and removes the rest. “Keep Truly Unique Only” goes further — it removes any line that appeared more than once, including its first occurrence. You’re left with only lines that were unique from the very beginning.
Can I combine multiple options?
Yes! You can activate as many options as you like simultaneously. They are applied in a logical order: trim whitespace first, then remove blanks, then remove duplicates, then filter/transform, then sort.
What does “Remove Titles/Gender” do exactly?
It strips common honorifics from the start of each line: Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss, Mx, Dr, Prof, Sir, Rev (with or without a period). For example “Mrs. Jane Smith” becomes “Jane Smith”. Useful when cleaning CRM exports or mailing lists.
What does “Keep Emails Only” do?
It scans each line and keeps only lines that contain a valid email address format (user@example.com). Lines without an email are discarded. Great for extracting emails from messy data.
Can I download the result?
Yes. After processing, click “Download .txt” to save the cleaned list as a plain text file to your device.
